BGBB Mission Statement
  • The Brotherhood of the Grey Beard Bikers exist for the purpose of preserving and promoting the Biker life-style and is dedicated to promoting peace and harmony among all clubs and independent bikers.
  • We also endeavor to educate the younger or uneducated riders who express a desire to learn about the Biker life-style.
  • We strive to teach the true meaning of Brotherhood, loyalty, respect and protocols within the Biker life-style and the fact that all the above is something that is taught but can never be bought.
  • We have members from all around the United States, Canada and several other countries, some of whom are among what we describe as the "wise ones". These are older grey beards that have paid their dues, have been riding for 40 plus years, some much longer and know the life-style.
  • We go on the assumption that you are never too old or wise to learn something new or relearn something you may have forgotten. We learn from the wise ones everyday and are proud to call them Brother.

You will always be welcome on the BGBB Forum, the only thing that is not tolerated is club bashing or bad mouthing any club or individual. (Be respectful)
How Do I Become A Member of the BGBB
 
Membership Level 1 - Full Member
To qualify as a Full Member of the Brotherhood of the Grey Beard Bikers, you shall:
  1. Be a male
  2. Be an active BGBB Support Member in good standing.
  3. Own and ride a motorcycle of any make or model that is 500cc or larger.
  4. Have a strong belief in the old ways of the biker lifestyle and live them in your everyday life.
  5. Agree to and abide by the bylaws set forth by the Brotherhood of the Grey Beard Bikers.
 
Membership Level 2 - Support Member
To qualify as a Support Member of the Brotherhood of the Grey Beard Bikers, you shall:
  1. Be a male.
  2. Own and ride a motorcycle of any make or model that is 500cc or larger.
  3. Have a strong belief in the old ways of the biker lifestyle and live them in your everyday life.
  4. Agree to and abide by the bylaws set forth by the Brotherhood of the Grey Beard Bikers.
 
Membership Level 3 - Lifetime Honorary Member
To qualify as a Lifetime Honorary Member of the Brotherhood of the Grey Beard Bikers, you shall:
  1. Be a male.
  2. Ridden a motorcycle at least 35 years or more and stopped riding due to your age, or ridden a motorcycle at least 5 continuous years, and was forced to stop riding due to a disability.
  3. Agree to and abide by the bylaws set forth by the Brotherhood of the Grey Beard Bikers.
  4. Go to the BGBB Forum and post an introduction explaining your wishes and qualifications to become a "LHM", become a regular on the BGBB Forum, and contribute to the forum through your posts.
  5. After you have been posting for a period of time, a full member may sponsor you for the "Lifetime Honorary Member" status.
  6. If qualifications #1 through #4 have been fulfilled, a vote will be held, and if 75% of the membership votes YES, you will be notified that you have been accepted as a "Lifetime Honorary Member".
  7. As a "Lifetime Honorary Member" you will enjoy the same entitlements as a BGBB Support Member.
 
Please note:
Although we welcome participation from all who wish to do so, there are no guarantees that you will be brought up for a vote for membership. Please understand that sometimes a person just isn't a good fit. We will still continue to welcome your participation.

If you think you have what it takes and have made up your mind to make the life-time commitment to become a member of the Brotherhood of the Grey Beard Bikers, simply go to the BGBB Forum and make your introductory post and then hang around so the Brothers can get to know you. After you've been posting on the forum for a few months and we've gotten to know you, you may ask a full member to sponsor you for membership. If a member sponsors you a vote will be taken. The vote must be a 75% 'yes' vote for you to become a member (so post and hang around until you feel ready). Down below you will find a button that will take you to the BGBB FORUM. The BGBB Forum has just one basic rule - "RESPECT". We respect all clubs and their colors be they M/C, RC or 1%ers but would appreciate them not being mentioned on the forum. Attitudes will not be tolerated and your entry (Forum or Guestbook) will be deleted. Now log on and enjoy.
